Queen St. Fare filled a void in the downtown Ottawa market, where nightlife and entertainment venues were lacking. With an increasingly younger population in downtown Ottawa, there was a need for a more vibrant restaurant scene after 4pm, especially for the younger demographic. The goal was to create a unique destination in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Beauleigh worked with Bentall Kennedy and Sun Life Financial, conceptualizing the retail strategy and creating the vision for the food hall, which was carefully curated with an eclectic tenant mix, targeting the best local talent in the market. Queen St. Fare is the first food hall to be launched in Ottawa.
